This place borders a long, cotton-white beach. Plus, you’re in Cancun’s bustling Hotel Zone, so you’ve got a strip of shops, restaurants and bars at your disposal.
The hotel has just bagged a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award – and the sleek interiors may have played a part. State-of-the-art rooms come with oil diffusers, minibars, plasma TVs.
The long pool runs along the beach here. It comes with a handful of circular pools and a swim-up bar. For extra relaxation, there’s a spa with beachfront massage huts. Activities-wise, things are just as laid-back, with yoga, tennis and volleyball on offer. As for food, the huge selection of restaurants serve everything from Asian and Latin to gourmet seafood. Live music and clubbing outings keep things going after dark.

The pool and beach are practically inseparable, so the sea views are incredible. A couple of circular pools jut out from the main belt, and they come in a range of different temperatures.
